  • What are some of the health and safety concerns with using Sprint's Standard Film Developer? What should you do if you get chemistry on your eyes or skin or ingest the chemistry?
    • If contacted with the skin, mild irritation, sensitization may occur. If absorbed into the skin the effects of inhalation or ingestion could possibly occur. The effects of Inhalation are, irritation of nose, throat, or respiratory tract, which can cause headache, nausea, dizziness, light headedness, or even liver disease. Ingestion can result in severe potentially life threatening asthma, kidney damage and maybe toxic to embryo's. Mild irritation of the eye may occur if substance comes into contact with the eye.
    • Was the area with soap and water for several minutes, then seek medical attention only if an irritation develops. Remove contacts, then rise thoroughly with water for several minutes. If the eye become irritated seek medical attention. Drink 3 or 4 glasses of water, and make note not to induce vomiting. If vomiting does occur, give more water. Get medical attention.
