Materials Safety Sheets

Some health concerns include inhilation of, ingestion of, eye, and skin contact with Sprint's Standard Film Developer.

If your skin comes in contact with the developer you should wash the affected areas with soap and water and seek medical care if a rash persists.

If you inhale the developer you may become dizzy and light-headed. You should then find fresh air and seek medical attention if breathing remains difficult.

For eye contact you should immediately flush the eye with water and remove any contact lenses and continue to flush eyes.

If you ingest the film developer you should ingest 3 or 4 glasses of water and not induce vomiting .

If you contact the print developer with skin, you should again immediately wash areas with soap and water. You should also remove clothes and shoes that came in contact with the print developer and seek medical attention.

If you contact the print developer with your eyes you should flush with water and remove contact lenses. You should then hold your eyelids apart and continue to flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.

If you ingest the print developer you should consume 3 or 4 glasses of water and do not induce vomiting. You should seek medical attention to determine whether or not vomiting and pumping your stomach is necessary.

If your eyes come in contact with the stoop bath you should rinse your eyes with water, remove contacts, and continue to rinse for 15 minutes. Hold your eyelids apart while your rinse and then seek medical attention.

If you ingest stop bath drink 3 or 4 glasses of water and do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention to determine whether or not vomiting is necessary.
