Material safety data sheets

Standard Film Developer

Some of the health and safety concerns with using Sprint's Standard Film Developer are as follows;
-skin sensitization
-mild irritation to skin, eyes, and respitory tract
-is harmful if swallowed
-may absorb through skin
-may cause life-threatening asthma
-inhalation may cause irritation of muccous membranes in the nose, throat, and respitory tract
-may cause headache
-may cause dizziness
-may cause nausea
-may cause light-headedness
-may cause liver injury
-eye contact may cause mild irritation
-ingestion may cause kidney damage, may be toxic to the embryo or cause teratogenic effects, life-threatening asthma

If you should get chemistry on your eyes or skin or ingest the chemisty do as follows;
-skin contact: was the affected area with plenty of water and soap for several minutes. You should seek medical attention if an irritation develops and persists.
-inhalation: Remove yourself from the area and seek fresh air. If respiritory irriation develops or if breathing becomes difficult get immediate medical attention. Transport to medical care facility and give supplemental oxygen if available.
-eye contact: Rinse eye(s) with water. Remove any contact lenses, and continue to flush with water for several minutes. If irritation develops and persists, seek medical attention.
-ingestion: DO NOT induce vomiting. Drink 3 to 4 glasses of water, and if vomitting does occur, drink fluids again. Seek medical attention to determine if vomitting of evaculation of stomach will be necessary. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconsious or convulsing person.

Quick Silver Print Developer

Some of the health and safety concerns with using Sprint's Quick Silver Print Developer are as follows;
-causes eye and skin burns
-may cause life-threatening asthma
-may cause irritation to the respiratory tract
-may cause sensitization
-may irritate the mucous membranes of the nose, throat, and respiratory tract
-may cause headache
-may cause dizziness
-may cause nausea
-if swallowed, may cause gastrointestinal pain, cramps, nausea, vomiting, central nervous system depression, kidney damage, liver damage, and life threatening asthma

If you should get the chemistry on your eyes or skin or ingest the chemistry do as follows;
-skin contact: Wash affected areas with large amounts of running water and soap for 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Seek immediate medical attention. Make sure to wash clothing and decontaminate shoes before re-using.
-inahalation: Remove yourself from the area and go to some fresh air. If not breathing, clear airway and begin mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration or use a bag-mask respirator. Seek immediate medical attention. If victim is having trouble breathing, transport to medical care facility and give supplemental oxygen if available.
-eye contact: Rinse eyes immediately with water. Removes any contact lenses, and hold eyelids apart to ensure rinsing of the enitre surface of the eyes and lids with water. Continue flushing with water for atleast 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention. If a physician is not available, flush for an additional 15 minutes.
-ingestion: Drink 3 to 4 glasses of water. DO NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting should occur, give liquids again. Seek medical attention to determine whether vomiting or stomach evaculation is necessary. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconcious or convulsing person.

Block Stop Bath

Some of the health and safety concerns with using Sprint's Block Stop Bath are as follows;
-may cause mild skin irritation
-causes eye irritation
-may cause asthma-like symptoms
-in case of fire, use foam, carbon dioxide, or a dry chemical
-may cause respiratory tract irritation, resulting in sore throat,nose, and respiratory tract

If you should get the chemistry on your eyes or skin or ingest the chemistry do as follows;
-skin contact: wash affected area with plenty of water and soap for several minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
-eye contact: Immediately rinse eyes with water. Remove any contact lenses, and continue flushing eyes with running water for atleast 15 minutes. Hold eyelids apart to ensure thorough rinsing of the entire surface of the eyes and lids with water. Seek immediate medical attention.
-inhalation: Remove from the area and seek fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration or use a bag-mask respirator. Get immediate medical attention. If having trouble breathing, transport to a medical care facility and give supplemental oxygen if available.
-ingestion: Give 3 to 4 glasses of water, DO NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting should occur, give liquids again. Seek medical attention to determine if vomiting should be induced, or if evaculation of stomach is necessary. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconsious or convulsing person.
