Lynn Geesaman
I was looking at all the different photographers to do for this webwork and i came across Lynn Geesaman. I couldnt help but stop and look at the photos that she has created and i knew that this was the one that i wanted to do my webwork on... From not doing any research on her and just looking at the photos i feel that she has a sence of erieness to her and i love that... so now that i have put my input in on her photos im going to do some research now and i will return when i have some of that for you............
Ok im back... So what i found was that she was born in Cleveland in 1938, and while studing physics at Wellesley College she gained an instrest in photography and found herself loving the gardens... and what started her love for traveling to different contries to capture these images.
Some of the work that she has done that has been in differnt art shows normally are priced at $4250 for a 28x28 with frame. and $6700 for a 38x38 with frame. The only thing is, is that Geesman's work doesnt have much auction history so its hard for them to be sold at those prices.
She has one book called... Gardenscapes by Lynn Geesaman.
So i was planing on putting a youtube video on here of her but when i realized was that there is nothing on there of her, also another interesting thing was that nothing from her was in wikipeda.. i thought that place had everything... But i guess not LOL....
So i had to kinda dig around for the information that i was able to find...
The last thing i have to say is if you have some free time take the time to look at her photos.. they are amazing and will calm you down if ever in that kind of mood...
