Werner Adalbert Bischof was born April 26, 1916 in Zurich, Switzerland and died in a car accident in Peru May 16, 1954. Bischof worked as an advertising and fashion photographer for several year and in 1942 began working for Zurich magazine.
I find Bischof's photo's intreging and peaceful. They are simple but yet seem to tell a story. It is unfortunate that he died so young. With the help of his son his images will not be forgotten.
