Health risk:

Some of the standard photo developer health risks include. Mild irritation, possible sensitization, kidney damage, liver injury, dizziness, nausea, and light-headedness.

Treatments:

If it is ingested drink 3-4 glasses of water but do not induce vomiting, if you vomit the glasses of water drink another 3-4 glasses, seek medical help to determine whether or not a stomach evacuation is necessary.

If it comes into contact with your eyes or skin flush with water for several minutes.

Quick silver print developer can cause the following: Kidney or liver damage, dizziness, nausea, headache, life threatening asthma, and burns to the skin and eyes.

Treatments:

If developer comes into contact with your eyes, immediately rinse eyes with water. Remove any contact lenses. Hold eyelids apart to ensure rinsing of the entire surface of the eyes and lids with water. Continue flushing eyes with large amounts of running water for at least 15 minutes. If physician is not available, flush for an additional 15 minutes seek immediate medical attention.

If it comes into contact with you skin, wash affected areas with large amounts of running water, and soap if available, for 15 minutes, remove contaminated clothing and shoes, seek immediate medical attention. Wash clothing and decontaminate shoes before reuse.

If ingested give 3-4 glasses of water, but DO NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, give fluids again. Get medical attention to determine whether vomiting or evacuation of stomach is necessary. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person.
