*Ansel Adams*
-Ansel Adams was born on February 20th, 1902. He was born into a wealthy family. He lived until April 22, 1984.
-When Ansel was 4 years old, there was an earthquake and Ansel ended up breaking his nose and the scarring left a permanent mark for life.
-Throughout school as a child, Ansel Adams may have been hyperactive and dyslexic.
-Adams grew up near the Golden Gate.
-Married his wife, Virginia Best, in Yosemite in the year 1928. They had 2 kids together.
-Adams was seen as an environmental hero and symbol of the American West.
-When Ansel Adams was 17 years old, he joined the Sierra Club.
-Before Adams became a photographer, he was a pianist.
-Adams also published photography books.
-In World War II, Adams took photographs of Japanese prisoners.
