Alfred Addis

PART A

Alfred Addis was a pre-civil war photographer who photographed mostly southern American and Mexico. I really couldn't find too many of his photographs online because his pictures are so old. He was born in 1832 in Philadelphia then he moved to texas and was a photographers assistant. He documented the civil war and the daily life of southerners. I really like his style and i think that for as extremely new photography was for that time he did incredible work.

PART B

This is a project done by a Croix Gagnon. That i thougt was extremely interesting and kind of creepy. He took cross sections of an old executed criminals body and looped them in a video and then created long exposure images in some of the places the that the criminal lived. There's more info about it on the website.
